Workaround for File Explorer Crashing

Due to a recent change File Explorer has been crashing when opened. This may be caused by a setting in Quick Menu or Folder Explorer itself.

This guide will show you how to temporarily work around the problem until it is fixed.

Instructions

1. Press the “Windows Key” on your keyboard to bring up the start menu and type “Folder Explorer Options”. Press Enter or click to display a window.

2. Beside “Clear File Explorer History” Click “Clear”. This will remove the items from your Quick Access option but will not delete them.

Close and Re-Open Folder Explorer and your problem should be temporarily resolved!
