Located Item/Folder Missing in Outlook

This article details the steps necessary to locate a file or folder that has gone missing in Outlook.

Instructions

Please open Outlook and do the following:

1. In Outlook, search for an email within the known missing folder. Ensure it is searching the Current Mailbox that contains/contained the folder or item.

2. Double-click on it to fully open the email.

3. When it is open, press Ctrl + Shift + F to open the Advanced Find menu

4. Click Browse to view the full path. Make note of the location.

5. Find the location of the folder, then Right Click → Move → Move the folder back to a familiar location.
