Clear Browser Cookies & Cache

Google Chrome

Sometimes, you may experience issues while browsing. These can range from websites not loading, to things behaving unusually. The best first step to fix most of these issues, is to clear out your browser cache.

Instructions

Please open Chrome and do the following:

1. On your keyboard, press SHIFT + CTRL + DEL

2. A window will appear. From here, ensure the Time Range field is selected to All Time.

3. Check the boxes for Cookies and for Cached Images & Files. If you wish to delete your browsing history, you should also check the first box. Note this may sign you out of your sites.

4. Click on Clear Data or Delete from this Device.

5. The time it will take is dependent on how much is stored by Chrome, but it is usually >1 minute.

Note:

If the hotkey SHIFT + CTRL + DEL does not work, you can also access this page by:At the top right, click on the 3 vertical dots.

Then, click History > Open history page. Than you can select Delete browsing data.

From here, follow step 3.

Edge

Instructions

Please open Edge and do the following:

1. On your keyboard, press SHIFT + CTRL + DEL and follow same steps as Google Chrome if this doesn't work try the below.

2. Click the 3 dots above:

3. Than click History > Settings > Choose what to clear

4. After you have the data selected click Clear now:
