This document is a guide for working on SharePoint when working on non-company owned machines.

Accessing SharePoint

  1. Go to office.com, and sign in to your work or school account.
  2. In the upper left corner of the window, select the app launcher  
  3. Once online you can select which SharePoint site you wish to access by hitting the site button.
  4. You can also select frequent site box as soon as your logged in:

You now have access to your site and can view documents. There are two options you can chose to start uploading and working on files.

Option 1 - From the Web

  1. Select documents to start viewing your files.
  2. Selecting Upload to add a file or folder to your site.
  3. If you wish to edit a excel, word, or PowerPoint document select your file. Click Open button to chose your option. Once save the file will sync to your SharePoint:

Option 2 - Sync to file explorer

  1. You can also sync the site to your file explorer. Just click the Sync button and follow the prompt to open Onedrive.
  2. You will get a notification that files are syncing and OneDrive will open if successful.
  3. You will now see a site icon in your file explorer where you can access, edit, and add files to sync up to SharePoint:
