Changing Multi-Factor Authentication to a new phone

If you have a new phone or phone number and you'd like to change your multifactor authenticator app to it, follow the steps below:

If your phone has been lost or stolen, please contact support@cloudcollective.com to verify your identity and have one of our support specialists reset it for you.
  1. On your computer, go to https://myaccount.microsoft.com/
  2. Log into your work or organization Office 365 account
  3. Click on "Security info" on the sidebar
  4. Click on the "Add method" button
  5. Choose the option you'd like to update, in this case we're using the Microsoft Authenticator account so we choose Authenticator app
  6. Go through the wizard to complete the setup.
  7. Once you've confirmed it's working, if you're no longer using the old phone you can delete the old multifactor method from the same page.
