How to fix "Previous Instance of SiteLink Running" error

Typically, this error means that a previous user neglected to log-off & close Sitelink at the end of shift or sitelink didn't drop the previous users login information when they logged out.

  1. The quickest way we have found to resolve the issue is to reboot the computer.
    1. Ignore all errors and force reboot
  2. You can also use the Maintenance button to perform these tasks
    1. Click "Reset Local Database"
    2. Click "Launch Liveupdate" and go through the wizard

However - this can take up to 15-20 min to get SiteLink responsive again
