Update VPN Settings

When is this required?

  1. Your company firewall has been replaced and there is a new VPN server address.
  2. If you've recently changed your Active Directory password. For example, the COMPANY\Username account you use to log in to your computer.
  3. If your company is changing one VPN authentication method to another. For example, a generic shared account to individual accounts like COMPANY\Username.

Updating your VPN Settings

  1. Press the Windows key and type "VPN Settings"

  1. Click your VPN then "Advanced Options"
  2. Click "Edit"
  3. Here you can edit your username, password, and VPN server address.
    OPTION 1: If your company has a new firewall, update the "Server name or address" field.
    OPTION 2: If you've recently changed your password, you can leave the username as is. Only update the password field.
    OPTION 3: If your company has changed VPN authentication methods you may need to update your username and password.

You should now be able to log in to the VPN. If you have multi-factor authentication set up, make sure to check your phone to approve the login request.
